Extended School Services

Welcome to New Park Primary Schools Extended School Services. I hope this guide will give you a taste for the services on offer and would encourage you to call into school to see our site and talk to staff should you have any questions that are not answered here.

New Park Primary School is committed to the needs of our children, parents and the local community. This was highlighted by the School’s most recent Ofsted inspection where it was defined as Outstanding in many aspects.

This achievement for school is to be further supported by adding to our school services facilities for the extended school to build upon our successes as a school and strengthen our support offered to the community.

School offers extended services with Breakfast, After School Clubs, and Summer Clubs successful to support children’s learning. The success of these services is attributed to the excellent pastoral support school offers children and the trust earned from parents in looking after their children, and our improved resources and environment.

Overall the extended school service is intended to and support working/studying parents by offering wrap around care and care for children from 8am at breakfast club and after school until 6 p.m. each evening for 50 weeks of the year in a safe and secure learning environment. The services will link heavily with the Governments Every Child Matters Agenda achieving objectives that children are safe, healthy, enjoy and achieve and make a positive contribution.

The inclusion of children from the community and providing further parent support ensures that New Park is offering the widest possible for opportunities for the whole community and the links provided by school with extended services and learning priorities means that all children within the community are provided with the best possible experiences to enrich their potential for development as individuals.

Breakfast Club for children aged 4 years to 11 years
Wrap Around Care for 3 and 4 year olds
