Meet the Maths Buddies

As a part of the Liverpool Counts Quality Mark, we introduced the maths buddies scheme and we have children from years 1-6 as buddies.The role of the maths buddies is to: promote maths in our school, assist their peers with maths and help Mrs Haake as the 'maths champion' with jobs linked to maths.

The maths buddies complete the following jobs:

Attend weekly meetings
Ensure that the teacher's 'How have I used maths?' door signs are updated.
Mark the termly maths challenge answers.
Work with other schools.
Run a KS1 games club (beginning summer term).
