    INFORMATION REGARDING FREE SCHOOL MEALS

Parents and carers of pupils on free school meals are entitled to collect a weekly £10 food voucher for their child which can be redeemed online or in store at a number of supermarkets.

The council has secured an additional two weeks’ worth of food vouchers to cover the Easter holiday period. These vouchers will be available from Monday 6th April 2020.

To collect the voucher, people should visit the designated children’s centre that they originally registered with. Please note that opening hours have been reduced to 9am-4pm. If you are in self-isolation and cannot collect, please call the centre and they will arrange for it to be posted out.

In the event of your local children’s centre being closed, please call 0151 233 3000 and they will re-direct you to your nearest local centre.

Parents and guardians will need to take the letter issued by their school and ID, and vouchers cannot be distributed to children and young people.

From 20th April, Liverpool schools will be implementing the national scheme, which we will be contacting parents about.

If you need any further information, please do not hesitate to contact school.
