  • Colmendy, 10:30 update: Colomendy is still going ahead!

    Mr Povey has spoken to Colomendy and at the monent the residential is still going ahead. They have adviced to ring back later this afternoon for further updates. Please keep checking the website for further details. Please make sure that your children bring PLENTY of warm, waterproof clothing.

  • Colomendy, 6:00pm update: Colomendy has been cancelled

    Bad news! Colomendy have just been in touch to say they are cancelling visits this week. They have risk assessed the activity areas and due to health and safety reasons, the activities will not be able to take place! Absolutely devastated for the children. So unfortunately children will need to be in school for normal time tomorrow, Monday 25th March 2013. We will contact and update further when we have spoken to Colomendy head office tomorrow, Tuesday 26th March 2013.

    School will be closed due to the adverse weather conditions. 


    We are expecting that school will be open as normal on Monday 25th March 2013.


    With concerns about Colomendy, it will very much still be going ahead!

     Year 6 will stilll be going to Colomendy on Monday 25th March 2013!

    Colomendy essentials

     

    Final Reminders for Colomendy 2013

     

    1. All children must arrive at school on Monday 25th March at 12PM  IN THEIR OWN CLOTHES.
    2. Children will return to school on Thursday 28th March  between 1:30pm and 2pm. All children must be picked up from school at this time.
    3. All medication must be personally handed to Mr Povey on the day of travel to Colomendy.
    4. Children are not allowed to bring any other money with them.
    5. No IPOD’s, phones or hand held games are allowed to be brought to Colomendy. Any mobile phones found confiscated and given back after our Colomendy visit.
    6. Please only allow your child to bring a cheap throw away camera if they are wishing to take photographs. School will be taking a lot of photographs that will made available to all the children.
    7. Please ensure that all children bring the necessary clothing, especially a waterproof jacket, long sleeved tops, long trousers, hat and gloves. Due to the adverse weather conditions, please ensure that your children have plenty of warm and water proof clothing.
