Hello and welcome to Year 5.
In Year 5 this year, we have a great team working together. In 5E we have Mrs Ellis and Mrs Crowe and in 5L we have Mrs Larsen and Ms Hollis. We are readily available if ever you need to speak to us or ask us any questions.

Year 5 is an extremely important year as the curriculum is challenging and we will also be preparing the children for the transition to Year 6, therefore attendance and punctuality is hugely important. Our timetable is very full and activities start from the moment your child enters the classroom at 8:55. Please find below a copy of our timetable:

As well as practising spellings, timetables and daily reading, your child will be expected to complete a home project relating to one of the topics we are learning about. These will be given to the children once each term. Our first home project will be about the Victorians and Victorian Britain.
