In year 5 there are 2 classes: 5H with Mrs Haake/Mrs Rashid and Miss Fenlon, 5C with Miss Corcoran and Miss Bilsborrow. Each morning we are also lucky enough to have a 3rd set with Miss Prentice and Miss Yates.
Homework
On Monday, all three sets will receive English and Maths homework this will be due in on Thursday, they will also receive spellings, ready for a test on Friday. In Mrs Haake's and Miss Corcoran's set, children will receive home writing homework on a Wednesday, due in for the following Monday.
It is important that your child reads with an adult at home as much as possible as this will assist their progression in both reading and writing.
Physical Education
In 5H swimming kits will be needed every Wednesday, this must include a swimming costume/swimming shorts, a towel and a swimming cap.
Children should bring their P.E kit in on a Monday morning for the full week as there are often opportunities for las minute P.E activities such as off site football.
