Year 6 Parents Admissions drop in session for Year 7 Applications

The application window for applications for Year 7 start in 2025 is open. All applications have to be submitted by the closing date of 31stOctober 2024. We are holding a drop in session on Thursday 26th September from 9am till 10.00am for parents whose children who are currently in our Year 6. Staff will be available to help or support any parents with the completion of their application forms. There will also be refreshments on offer.


Playtime Snacks

Children should not be bringing crisps, chocolates or sweets for their snack at play. If your child would like snack at morning breaktime then they may bring snack into school. This must be a healthy snack, for example, fruit, vegetables or cereal/breakfast bars.


Diary Dates

  • 23rd September – Year 2 Meet the teacher meeting at 9.00am
  • 23rd September – Year 4 Meet the teacher meeting at 2.45pm
  • 25th September to 27th September – Year 4 Colomendy Trip
  • 26th September– Year 6 Parents Secondary School Admission drop in session
  • 27th September – Maths Party Day – more information to follow
  • 25th October – Break up for half-term at 3.30pm
  • 4th November – Start of Autumn term 2 7th November – Flu immunisation day

Flu Vaccination

The Liverpool Immunisation team are attending school on Thursday 7th November to deliver the influenza vaccine.

Please scan the QR code to access further information and complete your child’s consent form if you have not done so already, even if you don’t want them to receive their flu spray. Paper consent forms are available at the school office. If you are unable to complete the online form, please contact the school immunisation team, who will be happy to help on 0151 295 3833.

Class Attendance

Attendance Matters

At New Park Primary School we are determined to do all we can to have excellent school attendance, aiming for 100% attendance wherever possible. We know that regular attendance is directly linked to raising achievement and develops skills for life and work. Please help support us by ensuring that your child(ren) attend school regularly and arrive ready to learn on time at 8.45am. Our free breakfast club is open daily for children in Reception to Year 6 from 7.30am until 8.30am.
