Applications September 2026

If you would like to apply for a space at New Park Primary School for September 2026, there are three straightforward ways to do so:

  1. Apply Online: Submit your application directly via the Liverpool City Council website.
  2. Request a Paper Form: Contact Liverpool City Council school admissions here to request a paper application form, which should then be returned directly to Liverpool City Council.
  3. School Office Support: Our school office team is always happy to guide you through the application process – simply get in touch.

**The deadline for all applications is January 15th, 2026. We strongly advise submitting your application at least a few days before this deadline to ensure it is processed on time. If you need to apply after this date, please contact the school office, and we will be happy to support you in making a late application.

appeals

Parents/Carers may submit an appeal if their Reception child's application is unsuccessful.  

The appeals should be on the Appeal Form and should be submitted by 25th May 2025.  Parents/Carers will be provided with 10 days' notice of an appeal hearing and this will be held by 16th July 2025.  If an appeal is lodged after 25th May 2025, the hearing will take place within 40 school days of the deadline where possible or 30 days of the date on which it was lodged.

Appeal hearings will be heard by an independent panel and their decision is final and binding for the parents/carers and the school.

For applications for other year groups, appeals may be lodged on the appeal form, parents will be informed 10 days prior to the hearing and it will be held within 30 days of the appeal being lodged.

 

Please Note: You are welcome to apply for New Park Primary School even if you do not reside within Liverpool City Council District. Indeed, each year, we warmly welcome many children from other boroughs, those who have recently moved to the city, or even from abroad, enriching our diverse school community.
