The school day starts at 8.55am until 3.30pm. Children should be dropped off and collected from the Reception yard gate on the main yard. We kindly ask that parents/carers leave the children at the gate and allow them to walk into class on their own.
This is from 11.45am until 12.45pm. For those children that have school dinner there is a choice of a hot meal or a sandwich or salad from the cold deli bar. Children on school dinners or packed lunch are able to sit together in the dinner hall. After lunch the children are taken to the Reception yard.
Names on Clothing
Please can you ensure that your childs name and class (RB) is on every piece of clothing. Often clothes go missing and misplaced and it can be very difficult to locate and identify missing items if there are no names on. Thank you.
We kindly ask for £1 per week for your child's snack money. This not only pays for food snacks that the children have daily but also for any baking or cooking we may do within class. This money also pays for ingerdients for making playdough and goes towards the cost of other replenishables within the classroom.
Fruit & Milk
Children have fresh cold milk each day and a fresh piece of fruit. If your child does not like milk then they are able to have a drink of water.
Allergies & Asthma
Please inform the class teacher if your child has any allergies that we should know about.
If your child requires an inhaler please ensure that we have one in school and that you have filled in a form from the school office.
If your child is on any medication and needs to have it during the school day then we are able to administer it providing that it has your child's name on and has been prescibed by a doctor. Please ensure that you take it to the school office where you will be required to complete a form.
Please ensure your child's name is clearly visible on their book bag. This bag will be used for your child to bring home any letters from school. Please ensure that you check it regularly and return any forms and letters. Your child will also bring home their 'words' to learn and their reading book and reading record in this bag.
